Leadership Team

Rev. A. Timothy Heijermans, Pastor

Tim (USA + Luxembourg), born in Delft, the Netherlands, has ministered in Luxembourg with his wife, Kathy, since 1977. He worked several years as a free-lance graphics artist and trained for ministry at Lancaster Bible College (Lancaster, PA) and Grace Theological Seminary (Winona Lake, IN). Their three grown children are married and involved in Christian ministry in various ways. Since 1986 Tim has pastored Christian Community Church while serving with Biblical Ministries Worldwide, a non-denominational church-planting agency headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia (USA).  The Heijermanses' children and six grandchildren live in the USA and Indonesia.

• Mr. Jean Grotz, Deacon

Jean (Luxembourg), who is a civil servant in the Grand Duchy, came to know Christ
through the ministry of CCC.  He and his wife Lani serve as leaders of the teen
ministry at CCC.  They have two teen children.

Mr. Kjell Haga, Deacon

Kjell (Norway), now retired after a career in business, came to know Christ through the faithful witness of his wife Gloria and the ministry of CCC.  The Hagas have two grown children living in Luxembourg.

Mr. Luc Minden, Deacon

Luc, deacon (Luxembourg), was born in Luxembourg and came to know Christ through the testimony of his future wife Fe and the ministry of CCC in 1983.  He has served as Treasurer since 1986 and has a desire to be used by God to develop ministry to Luxembourgers.  He and Fe have one teen daughter.

Mr. Rhey Bullon

Rhey (Philippines) came to know Christ while working in Saudia Arabia.  He came to Luxembourg to work in the restaurant and food service industry, but gives much of his free time to working with Tagalog-speaking people.  Shortly after arriving in Luxembourg he spoke of his faith to Filipinos working in Luxembourg and a Tagalog Bible study group was launched which has touched the lives of many people in the region. Rey and his wife Anne-Marie have three sons.

Mr. Scott Fries, Intern

Scott (USA/UK) grew up in a Christian home in the USA and South Africa, where his parents worked in church planting.  He is a graduate of Northland International University and has extended experience in information technology.  While employed in Luxembourg Scott will serve as a volunteer at CCC in an extended internship, which will expose him to all aspects of the church's ministry.  He helps train leadership in the teen group and the Young Professionals group, and oversees the church web site.

Many Others!

Many other committed Christian men and women are involved in ministries at CCC, whether or not they hold office. Without the involvement of all, the church could never function. We seek to promote the involvement of every believer in line with his gifts.
